This report reviews the justification for the introduction of a participatory education program for farm forestry in Australia and outlines the approach taken by the Australian Master TreeGrower Program. The results of an independent evaluation and impact study are presented along with data collected by the program coordinators. The report concludes by suggesting how the program might play an ongoing role in extending farm forestry information and enhancing farmer participation in farm forestry research and development.  2007, 06/029, 102pgs
